  1. Oh boy. I just subscribed on my Podcast App… It looks like I have a LOT of listening to do! But I’m excited. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

You guys are great! My parents definitely didn’t do so well with trying to raise sex positive kids. My siblings and I have all turned out fine, though.

I’m not sure if you’ll know who I am yet, however, a while back I told you I started at the beginning of the podcasts. I am desperately trying to carve out as much time to listen and read anything and everything from the two of you. But, I just had to stop and give some major kudos on this episode. I was so impressed with the way you’ve introduced sex positive language to your boys (I was always glad I only had girls; I would have no idea how to address these topics with boys). If course I realize that I’m time traveling (hehe) about 7 months or so. But any good parenting needs to be recognized!

As always, I adore all you contribute and look forward to hearing and reading more…

    Forever a faithful cricket,

Thank you so much! Being open with kids is still such a rare thing that I wonder if we’re doing the right thing, but I know we are. Especially since the only way to combat consent issues, toxic masculinity, and sexual repression is with real information. The boys still wish we weren’t quite so open, but they’re also becoming more open and sex positive in their own way as a result, so we must be on the right track. 🙂
