Showing Kinky Love Volume 5
If you know where to look, you can find all kinds of amazing bloggers sharing their kinky experiences. Thankfully, I know exactly where to look for this Share Our Shit Saturday. This week great bloggers used Wicked Wednesday, Kink of the Week, and 30 Days of D/s to share their perspective on kink, and I’m so grateful they did.
A Modest Formula by Modesty Ablaze
Dominants, but especially female Dominants seem to have this reputation for cackling gleefully over the pain they can mete out to any willing vicim. And to be fair, those Doms exist but that’s a very one-dimensional look. In A Modest Formula, Modesty Ablaze discusses the connection she enjoys and needs as a Mistress. For her, it’s about the fun and what both receive, not just what she gets to do.
Double Trouble by Wriggly Kitty
Wriggly Kitty is a great writer of both erotica and her own kinky experiences. Double Trouble focuses on separate interactions with two Dominants/tops. The scenes she describes certainly hit most of my buttons (I do love a good spanking). What I loved most was how different the two interactions are even though both involve spanking.
Behind the Blindfold by Bibulous One
I haven’t read as much from Bibulous One aka Pain as Pleasure as I’d like to, but everything I read fascinates me. No single kink or experience is one-dimensional with a single meaning for him. (They aren’t for any of us, but he articulates it so well!) There are layers upon layers in his understanding (and discovery) of himself as a submissive/bottom. Reading his thoughts in Behind the Blindfold had me questioning my own thoughts about blindfolds.
The Art of Negotiations by Mrs. Robinson
Okay, I admit it, she had me at the title with a Spice Girls reference (hey, don’t judge – my formative teenage years happened in the 1990s). You’ve probably heard John Brownstone and myself talk about how negotiations are really just a conversation. In The Art of Negotiations, we’re backed up by Mrs. Robinson who (in my favorite line) puts it best: “So here we are, in our not-quite-vanilla relationship, with an actual written constitution to govern our country (It’s Robinson Country and we are the King and queen).”
