For better or worse, language changes over time — including the terms we use in kink. These are our chaotic, messy thoughts on those changes.
In this episode:
- We’re no longer live streaming the podcast on Wednesday. It’s audio only starting next week.
- This episode was inspired by Kayla’s doom scrolling.
- The main inspiration came from an online conversation about the definition of edge play.
- We already know language evolves, and we won’t always agree on the changes.
- Ultimately there’s no way to get every kinkster to agree on every definition.
- Whatever words you use to describe your kink experience, it’s good practice to be able to explain what those terms mean to you.
