We’ve been getting the same type of question recently…Where do I find a Dom? How do I find a submissive? So let’s talk about it this week.
In this episode:
- Thanks to Flure for sponsoring this week’s episode. If you want a kink-friendly, pleasure-focused dating app experience, check out Flure!
- We started this series on the premise that we’re going to talk about the basics of D/s from the perspective of already having a partner. But then a lot of people asked (as they often do), “Where do I even meet someone?” And this episode was born.
- Kinky people are everywhere, especially online. Wherever people gather, you can find a kinky person.
- Social media platforms.
- Dating apps – like Flure, but any dating app.
- There are kink specific apps out there.
- Fetlife, Fetish.com, and other kink community platforms
- In-person kinky spaces: munches, workshops, etc
- Old-fashioned set-ups from friends – does your kinky bestie know someone?
- It takes time to meet people, and you may need to be willing to talk to strangers – so keep that in mind.
- Anyone can pretend to be anything, so taking your time, vetting them as best as possible, and be willing to shut things down if something feels off are all important.
