Toxic Masculinity in Power Exchange | A Dominant’s Perspective
The topic of toxic masculinity — in power exchange and kink or not — is a huge one. But as with all of these conversations, we have to start somewhere. In this week’s episode, we define what toxic masculinity can be, share examples from our own experience, and dive into JB’s experience as a man raised in toxic masculinity who rejected it to become the person and Dominant he is today.
We’re aware there are a lot of points and perspectives missing from this conversation. We have to start somewhere, and if we inspire others to have their own conversations about it, even better.
Yes, there’s even a Kayla Rant™ in there somewhere.
The topic is heavy and while we make passing mention of abuse, we don’t go into the deep end on that topic. But take care of yourself, even if it means skipping this one.
