This week’s topic comes straight from one of our kinky patrons — RaxLeanne! She shared her experience of repressing her kinky self in her relationship, and how it didn’t work out well. John Brownstone has his own experience with that, so we discussed why repression isn’t ideal as a Dominant, submissive, switch, or anything else.

- From RaxLeanne: “I took a hiatus from D/s and BDSM. I wanted to focus on the foundation of our relationship without the difficulties that can arise through the learning process so I voluntarily placed that part of myself on the back burner. Now, however, I realize that was leaving out a big part of who I am. Can you discuss how NOT honoring our kinky selves can be hazardous? In my case, it almost cost me a great relationship, because I became resentful.”
- John Brownstone repressed himself and paid the price.
- Shout-out to Kellina for being our patron at the shout-out level! Thank you and all our kinky patrons for your support!
