Before we get into the show, I wanted to talk to you about something that is very awkward for me. As some of you know, I’m on Patreon and am currently looking for kinky patrons. So why am I talking about this now, and not as my usual cheery little 30 second promo? Because I truly need your help. Yes, you, the one listening to the podcast. This isn’t about writing or publishing books (although my kinky patrons are the reason I was able to get it done the way I did complete paperback copies, images in the book, and professional formatting). No, this time it’s about the podcast.
Loving BDSM isn’t going anywhere. I want to put that out there. But we are having equipment issues. The laptop I was using – old and decrepit – isn’t running the recording program, an excellent (and FREE) option called Audacity, correctly. It skips. It stops recording. It eats the podcast. We moved to a different laptop but that belong to Daddy’s work, and I don’t like putting my kinky work on something that doesn’t belong to me. And, if that’s not enough, it doesn’t even have a mic or speakers (I know, I didn’t know they made them like that anymore, either) so we use a headset which is old as the hills.
We have a great option – Daddy’s high-powered, custom-built desktop. It can handle what we do, it’s got the space and memory. It already as the recording and editing program. Yay! But here’s the problem. I can’t bring the desktop into the closet with me. If we use it for recording, you’ll barely be able to hear me because of the echo we’ll have. So what we need is a headset/microphone kind of thing that blocks the noise. The good ones (like, the really good ones), they can cost up to $200 or $300, y’all. I don’t sell that many books in a month.
So, I thought I’d put it out there to y’all. If everyone who listens to the show pledged $1 for just one month, I could buy the mic and produce shows of a good enough quality that you can hear me.

For anyone in the states, Mother’s Day is May 8, y’all. Just around the corner, really. A few weeks ago, I did a post on the blog sharing some gift ideas for toys and kinky things you might want to buy the kinky mom in your life – girlfriend, wife, submissive, Dominant, hell, if you’re really comfortable talking about sex with your own mom, maybe for her, too. I’m not, hell no, but someone else might be.
And I included things like floggers and cuffs and stuff – and yes, I’ll link to it in the show notes – but today I really want to focus on the sex toys. Because as a submissive, sex toys take on a whole different life when Daddy turns it on.
When I play with a toy by myself, I’m gentle, sometimes even tentative. When Daddy does it? Holy fucking hell, y’all. And good toys become favorite toys pretty fast because he changes the way they’re used.
So let me go down my list, and some will be very familiar to you – and yes, I’ll have links to these in the show notes if you’re interested.
The Original Magic Wand, otherwise known as the Hitachi, is always on my list. Always. When I can’t relax enough to squirt and gush, the Hitachi always gets the job done. And if you really want to rip an orgasm out of someone – I’d say man or woman, really – this thing will do it. It is loud, and the original one plugs into the wall. I know there’s a cordless Hitachi out now, and I’ve heard it’s just as powerful, but I haven’t tried it for myself.
Next is a new one for me, it’s called the Keri by Svakom. It’s a clitoral vibrator. It’s light weight, and delicate looking. When Daddy tried it out on me, it felt good, but he was at the wrong angle. When I used it? Oh my gawd, y’all. Once I built up to the first orgasm, the rest just came rolling in. They weren’t painful like the hitachi can be, but they were intense. And when my thighs clamped together in some sad attempt to reduce the sensations, it only intensified. I promise you, I went to sleep quickly that night – in a wet spot, because yes, I squirted with that one, too.
Another option is the Lava 3 in 1. It’s kind of cool. It has a base, which is what you charge, and three interchangeable parts. Two are vibrator/dildos so they can be inserted if you want. The third part is a bullet. I don’t know if we didn’t have it in where it needed to be but the bullet didn’t do much for me. The dildo/vibrator parts? Oh yeah, those felt nice. A fourth option is a toy called the Vibease. This one is a really cool concept and even lets you bring your kink out of the bedroom. It’s a clitoral vibrator that can be controlled by an app on your phone. And when I say “your” phone I mean “the Dominant’s” phone. Oh sure, I have the app on my phone, and if I felt like playing with it, I could use the buttons on the toy or the app, but the kinky fun comes in when your partner uses it. There are so many options for patterns and rhythms – which keeps you guessing and can make you jump a bit. I don’t have big orgasms with this one, but, to me, at least, that’s not the point. The real thing is to be able to get warmed up no matter where you are – and having the control taken away at the same time. Yes, it is really quiet so conceivably you could wear it out and no one would know. I recommend jeans or pants instead of a skirt if you take it out – it’s not THAT small. But it’s a fun marriage of technology, sex, and kink. The company now offers a second toy called Esthesia that I haven’t tried yet but it certainly looks fun – clitoral and g-spot stimulation at the same time…controlled by an app? O-M-G, I don’t think I could handle it all.
