It’s been a loooong time since we participated in Share Our Shit Saturday with the sex blogging community. But after reading so many great posts on kink, BDSM, and D/s this week, we’ve got so much to share!

His Voice (and Other Things) by Julie
I love this post by Julie of Master’s Pleasing Bitch. Yes, she adores her partner’s voice, but she also loves so much more about him. I also appreciate her descriptions of him. He may not look like the stereotype we see in porn or on Tumblr, but he doesn’t have to. He wields his power over her the way she likes it, and that’s all that matters. Read His Voice.
BDSM Curious
We met Posy Churchgate at Eroticon 2018, and she was delightful! She’s written two posts recently about being BDSM curious. In Under My Thumb, she shares her thoughts about her thoughts and desires, and asks for feedback from kinksters. Read the comments section, and you’ll see that we definitely shared our thoughts. In Posy’s First Time as the Underdog, she shares a sexy and kinky moment with her partner that’s (partly) as a result of her previous post.
For all of us, it’s a journey. We’re figuring out what we want and what we don’t want, and how to make it work with a partner. I hope Posy continues to share this part of herself, because I can’t wait to find out where her curiosity takes her.
Is BDSM Curious a Valid Kink? by Floss
In Posy’s initial post discussing her BDSM curiosity, she asked people to weigh-in. Floss (another wonderful person and podcaster!) took to her own blog to share her thoughts. I agree with everything she says in her post, including how difficult it can be for someone to submit even in an already-established relationship when you first begin exploring D/s. It isn’t always easy to trust that your Dominant knows enough or cares enough to give you what you need. Definitely check out Is BDSM Curious a Valid Kink?
