Showing Kinky Love Issue 4
Since it’s been so long since we participated in Share Our Shit Saturday or SOSS (ugh, and we feel so freaking bad about that!), a little reminder:
Huge parts of the internet hate sex/kink/BDSM/relationship blogs and content.
They shadowban us on Twitter so new people can’t find us. Thankfully, this hasn’t happened to the Loving BDSM account but it has happened to our personal accounts from time to time.
Patreon freaks out about erotic/porn content and how creators use the money their loyal fans pledge to them.
Tumblr hides us so if you’re new account it’s almost impossible to get followers.
WordPress, Blogger, and others have (and will again) boot off any blog they find “objectionable” without defining exactly what they object to.
So Share Our Shit Saturday was born as a way us to help you find new good things to read you might not otherwise find because the interwebz tends to block things. Here are things we’ve read or seen in the past couple of weeks that speak to our kinky hearts…and we think you’ll like them too.
Sexy Images
If you haven’t checked out Sinful Sunday – as a voyeur or exhibitionist – we highly recommend it! Every week bloggers share images that will take your breath away. Our two kinky favorites right now are kinky in such good ways.
Victoria Blisse – erotic writer, kinkster, smut peddler, and amazing person – shared images of her cupping experience that made me desperate to finally try it! Marks, deep muscle sensation, heat? Where the hell do I sign up?!
Candy Snatch is a sex toy reviewer, absolutely gorgeous person, and great writer. I’m constantly perving her Instagram to check out all the things she reviews – like lingerie and fierce shoes. But it’s this image – Waiting for Daddy – that definitely got my attention.
Kinky Thoughts
There are a ton of fabulous people writing about their experiences with kink, D/s, and BDSM. Everyone is unique and contributes to the overall conversation. Some things are radically different from our dynamic and some are comfortably familiar.
Floss – half of the amazing podcast Proud to be Kinky, blogger, and kinkster – shared her experiences with FemDom stereotypes. Getting stuck in them and overcoming them. And like so many of us in kink, she shows that power exchange doesn’t have to be all leather and latex
T.J. Robinson, aka Mrs. Robinson, has become a friend thanks to Twitter, blogging, and our shared humor and love of kinky things. When she decided to participate in 30 Days of D/s, I was pleased. But when I read her first entry on what dominance means to her, I found myself nodding, laughing, and seeing things in different ways.
Sadly, it’s impossible to share all the good stuff we read in one blog post. If you’d like more, John Brownstone chose this week’s Wicked Wednesday round-up – and he picked some great stories!
We won’t be able to “Share Our Shit” every Saturday but as we can, we will. And hopefully help you find other great blogs to follow, information to learn, and people to get to know!
