In what has become an annual tradition, it’s time for us to convince you that we’re cool kids to hang out with for more than just a podcast episode each week.

We say it all the time, and we really mean it: We could not do what we do without the support of our kinky community on Patreon.

If you’ve learned from us, if we’ve helped you figure things out about yourself or your D/s relationship, and if you’ve got a few dollars to spare each month, we’d love for you to be a part of our kinky community!

By joining you help us keep making content that helps kinksters have happy, healthy power exchange relationships.

What You Get For Joining Our Kinky Community

Our goal is to give as much as we receive (or more!) from members. And over the years, we’ve leaned in to what people seem to like about us.

No matter what level (tier) you join, you get access to:

• Discord server for kinky patrons only: It’s a laidback space of people who simply want to hang out with and learn from fellow kinksters. Our main rule: Don’t be an asshole. So far, no one has.
• Monthly live stream Q&A: We chit-chat and answer your kink questions. Some questions lead straight to Kayla Rants™. Plus, you can ask your questions before the live stream, so if you can’t watch live, you can watch later and get our answer.
• Behind-the-scenes podcast: We talk about the business side of things and some of what’s going on in our personal lives, stuff we don’t tend to talk about during the bonus sections.
• Exclusive monthly videos: These are fun videos that aren’t meant to be educational but are (hopefully) entertaining. We’ve taken kink quizzes, played Smash or Pass, reacted to kinky memes, and made a hilariously bad attempt to vlog.
• Discounts to the Kinkery and the Loving BDSM Etsy shop: You get deep discounts we don’t offer anyone else to both shops.

But wait, there’s more…depending on what tier you join.

Choosing a Membership Tier

In the middle of 2023, we had a bit of a crisis on our hands. We’d bitten off more than we could chew and overwhelmed ourselves with our tiers and membership perks. We simplified our Patreon membership tiers in September 2023, and it’s working so well that we didn’t change a thing for 2024.

We have three official* tiers:

If you choose anything above the $2/month tier, you get extra perks.

Proud Crickets: You’re officially a proud cricket! For $2 per month, you get access to everything listed above.

Loving Crickets: For $5 per month, you get everything above plus the ability to join in on our monthly Game Night. That’s right, we get together one night a month (usually the last Friday of the month) and play an online game together. Last year it was a lot of Cards Against Humanity. This year, we may explore the games available through Discord.

Devoted Crickets: For $10 per month, you get everything the $5 tier gets plus access to all of our digital products (workbooks, planner sheets, etc.) for free — including new releases!

*Unofficially you can pay more than that. We have a $50 tier for anyone who’s got the cash and feels generous. 

2024 Membership Drive

Okay, so that’s what our Patreon is like all year long. What makes the Membership Drive special?

This is the one time a year we offer extra goodies. It’s our way of tempting you…like a kinky fairy tale witch living in the woods who (inexplicably) wants someone to find her.

The 2024 membership drive runs from January 15 to February 15, 2024.

If you become a member (or stay a member) during this time, you’ll receiving goodies in the mail in March/April. What you get depends on the tier you choose:

• $2 and $5 tier: Sticker sheet of 9 kinky stickers, some specific to Loving BDSM and others that are just fun and kinky
• $10 tier: Enamel pin (current members in Patreon are voting on which design they want for this year as of the publication date)

Yes, we ship to our international members, too!

When you sign up for a monthly membership, you can change tiers based on your budget at any point during the year. So if you want a certain goodie, make sure you’re a paying member* in that tier as of February 15! But if you don’t want to spend that much every month, feel free to drop down to a lower tier the next month.

*We offer a 7 day free trial for the $5 and $10 tiers so you can see what it’s all about before committing. 

Annual Membership Discount

For those who don’t want to deal with a monthly expense and who have the cash, we offer annual membership through Patreon, too. Outside of the membership drive, you always get a one-month free discount if you join as an annual member. That means you pay upfront for the entire year – pay for 11 months, get 12 months of access.

During the membership drive (January 15 through February 15), we increase the discount for annual membership. You get TWO months free if you sign up during that time. So you pay for 10 months upfront and get 12 months of access. 

The only downside is that it’s very difficult to switch tiers unless you’re upgrading to a higher tier.

Why Join Our Kinky Community?

Well, we think we’re a bunch of super chill, super fun, super cool kinksters. And if you think that, too, then you’re our kind of people, lol.

If you’re a bonus section junkie, you get much more of that through our Patreon, too.

We also offer a kink community for folks who haven’t had much luck finding a local community or who want something laid back and a community that offers more than just dating/hook-ups/play partners. We don’t encourage the dating/hook-up stuff but we’ve known a few people who found their partner in our community. How? By being a real person first and getting to know people as friends first.

I think we’re a great place for kinksters who recognize that kink and power exchange is just one facet of their life. Yes, it’s an important one (maybe the most important) but there’s still work, caregiving, pets, health, and other parts of life to navigate, too. Hell, in the Discord server, we have just almost as many channels for hobbies and other interests as we do for kink.
