Our D/s Life: A New Vlog Series
If you’ve listened to any of our podcast episodes or watched any videos, you know I have a tendency to have lots of ideas. But since many of them now involve John Brownstone, I can’t just blaze a trail forward without talking to him first. When this particular idea came to me, not only did I have to wait to tell him (he was busy) but I also had to wait for him to think about it (because it felt big to both of us).
(That’s our D/s life in a nutshell.)
We’ve teased the idea in podcast episodes and videos. We told our kinky patrons about it first. Now, we’re ready to share with everyone!
Now that we’ve embraced YouTube as a thing (even though video still seems really weird to do), we’re trying our hand at vlogging (video blogging). Instead of “teaching” you something, we’re showing you bits and pieces of our D/s life.
This is our first one. We recorded it on the day we went to our monthly munch and did a live Q&A on Patreon.
In the video, I mistakenly refer to our video series as “this” D/s life which soooo wasn’t cool because we have a dear friend, Michael Knight, who has a blog called This D/s Life (<=== click that link and go check it out). I’m not here to steal someone else’s blog title or idea even though I accidentally FUBARed it up over the weekend. This is OUR D/s life.
No, I can’t promise how often we’ll do vlog episodes. Everything else is still weekly, but these will be more sporadic until we have the time to focus on them (and get better at doing it).
Yes, we enjoyed making it, although it was a strange experience.
Also, yes, the editing and sound quality is a bit rough around the edges. We used our phones, and I’m not an experienced video editor (yet). New equipment is on the list for the future.
We hope you enjoy this video. If you’re a YouTube user, consider subscribing to our channel. If not, we’ll continue to share videos through the blog and Loving BDSM newsletter, so subscribe or follow to get it that way.
If you want to help us do more of what we do (including vlogging and oversharing about our lives), consider joining us on Patreon (<===click that link to learn more). You can join for as low as $1 per month and get access to all the content we make for kinky patrons. But if you’ve got more in your budget, you get other perks, too.
